Last time I posted, I shared a sneak peek of this dresser.
I finally found the time to take more pictures and share the complete reveal!
This dresser was this first piece of furniture I’ve painted in Miss Mustard Seed (MMS) milk paint. I’ve used other brands of milk paint before and have loved the outcome.
The MMS milk paint was no exception!
I wasn’t sure what color I wanted to paint this piece but I knew I wanted it to be dark but I didn’t want black or dark gray.
When I saw this dark blue with faint undertones of dark gray I knew this was the color I wanted to use.
I wanted it to look really worn.
As a painter/artist/blogger, I like to try different products.
I like to know what products are out there and know what product to use when a client wants to achieve a certain look.
As a painter and artist I think it so important to know numerous products.
Do not pigeonhole yourself!
Be flexible and know what you like, what works for you as a painter, and be able to compare potential products for clients.
Those are my words of wisdom for the day.
Now go try new things and paint something!
